A Weird Weather Day

When I took photos of the poppies and hung out my washing I had to wear a padded jacket. Then suddenly it was so warm I had to remove three layers of outerwear. Late morning a southerly squall hit. I scrambled to bring in the nearly dry washing. Big raindrops and then hail lashed the house. By mid-afternoon the wind had changed to nor’west and I hung out the washing again for an hour. During that hour the clouds lifted a little and I saw the mountains had a dusting of snow down to the foothills. Since then sunshine and rain have alternated, and it is not warm.

See Back Peak and Otarama in extra shot. I took the photo in colour and have not desaturated it.
