What the dickens!

Although my last day at work was yesterday I went in today to pick up the stuff of mine I hadn't wanted to take on last night's carouse, including this book that has been a talisman ever since I found it in a second-hand bookshop some years ago. It serves two purposes. One: to remind me to check and check and check again. Two: to console me that however badly I screw up, I haven't done anything quite this bad.
