My Spindly Tree

Each year during winter this tree takes on a more and more gaunt appearance.  It still bursts into new growth each spring, but at this time of year it hardly looks a picture of health.  In the distance is Brewood and it's church spire.  

I am sure it was the same for many but it was back to work today.  I've also decided I need to get fitter (and slimmer) so the site of a desk still crammed with pre-christmas sweets, cakes, biscuits and other delights hardly helped my focus first thing.  I (just) managed to resist!
