Independence Day!

No big plans at our house for a 4th of July celebration, but we did get some time with several of our grandchildren. Our oldest granddaughter, Carrie, and I went out for lunch in a cool air-conditioned place. We sat and visited for quite a while because it was the coolest place either of us had been all day. At supper time our two youngest grandchildren, Michael (the lawnboy) and Emmy (the swimmer), came for dinner. At my invitation they brought Cooper. His is the only picture I took all day, so he's the blip. It has been a VERY hot and humid day...high temperature around 96 degrees. That's without figuring in the humidity. This is the first day so far this summer that I have been uncomfortable miserable from the heat.
