United we stand

We need to get the Blipfuture issue sorted quickly as I have my next 2016 project lined up and raring to go. So please anyone with a few excess British pounds, Euros, Dollars ..... weighing down their trouser pockets please take a look at the Blipfuture crowdfunding site. Become a shareholder for just £10

The biggest shareholder bonus you get from giving Blip a future is being able to read my planned serialisation of European Union drivel and why we need the United Kingdom to stay in and make the EU what it ought to be - an effective alliance of independent countries with their own identities and traditions, bonded with common values of democracy, freedom and rights and striving to make the world a better place.

Only when my "YES" campaign has succeeded can we move on to the next campaign "The UK enters the Eurozone" which will include fascinating tales of D-Day, no not that one, but the 17th February 1971. This could be a lengthy campaign and will certainly be harder than securing Blips future - Back then, Rolls Royce went bankrupt; Toyota, Datsun and Honda motorbikes were lethal rustbuckets and had no future; the UK was lead by a man with passion, Red Robbo and as my Blip godfather Nogbad often quotes, newspapers were headlining "Fog in the Channel, Continent cut off".

Some of Germany went back to work today but many around here using the bank holiday on Wednesday to have an extended holiday. The morning saw a seemingly unexpected plunge in temperatures particularly further north with the chaos caused by a few millimetres of snow and black ice. Here we had nothing but I did do the morning walk in Ottobeuren's forest to get out of the unpleasant wind.

We did a route I seldom use and passed what I guess is Ottobeurens largest hotel, Parkhotel Maximillian, apparently 4*. Have never been inside, tending to use the towns Hotel Hirsch with just 3*s, possibly because it has its own brewery. One day will have to Blip the other more photogenic side of the hotel but the flags fitted my topic today.

Then on to a nearby village to retrieve some medication for Sultan out of the vet's postbox. He has a swollen front foot probably caused by kicking a metal panel refraining him from getting out of his enclosure. He is due to stay in quarantine for another two weeks. Nothing serious and we don't need to call out the vet. Bit of shopping and then home for the normal chores.
