Coldest work day of the year

I can honestly say this has been the coldest day at work this year. All our measurements were taken at close to 2000 feet AOD (above ordnance datum).
The air temperature was probably positive but the real feel with the wind factored in made it really harsh. Taking shelter out of the wind for a bite to eat, say in a peat hag ditch, offered no real respite and it was actually a pleasure to get going again to build up some body heat.
There was light snow later in the day but none of it was landing as it was blowing past us horizontally at about 50mph.
What else, my car has developed some electronic fault and has gone to limp home mode. It needs to go back to the garage (and it was there just on Sunday past)
This is the view west from our survey site in to a rugged area of wilderness known as the Rough Bounds of Knoydart. The Munros I personally value most highly live there.
