Snorkelling in Paradise

We are having great weather for this time of year - blue skies and it is cooler overnight. The sea is calm and the water clear so we booked onto a snorkelling tour to the Low Isles on the Reef. It only took 15 minutes in a speed boat and we had 1 1/2 hours which went very quickly. So much to see - hard, soft and sponge coral, giant clams and abundant fish. We didn't see any green turtles, unfortunately. I hired an underwater camera but was a little disappointed with the results. Anything standing still was ok but I kept missing the fish as the screen was so hard to see in the bright light. These giant clams were amazing. The colour when seen from the side is purple but an iridescent green when seen overhead in the light.
