Scottish (and Scandinavian) invasion

My copy of Alexander Murray's "Egypt's Thousand Days of Revolution" finally arrived today and is roosting for now together with the Lewis trilogy , by another Scot, blipper Peter May. Stieg Larsson seems to have crept in to represent Scandinavia.

The door bell rang early, when our not-very-handyman came to finish off/correct some of work he was supposed to finish while we were in the UK. All quite tense, as I had to haul him over the coals a bit.

Some very welcome light relief in the evening, though, when we met up with fellow blippers Bb and dd and had a long and well libated meal at our local, La Maison, down on the beach. It was so good to see them again - Bb was here briefly in August, but dd hasn't visited for a while. Let's hope it won't be so long before they're here again.
