'Mount Field'

Backblip.

After camping the night in Mike's front yard at Bushy Park, we headed up the road for about 45 minutes to reach Mt. Field National Park.

Set up the tents, made some sandwiches for lunch, packed our day packs and went for a walk through the rainforest. Beautiful scenery everywhere and some of the worlds tallest trees surrounding us.

This was Bella's longest walk ever, we covered some 14km total and she walked the entire way with her pack on her back.

We camped alongside a river and as night fell we saw a couple of platypus swimming up and down looking for their dinner I suspect. Really great to be able to see these in the wild and not in a zoo somewhere.
