Stress

I've been wanting to try this technique for a while.  I used the polarised light from an iPad to shine through this clear plastic moulded lid from a food container.  With a polariser over the lens, the stress lines in the plastic show up as lovely coloured patterns.

I shall experiment more with this in the future.
