The Driveway

We have a lovely tall hedge beside our driveway and it has recently burst into flower - gorgeous big white flowers which have looked so pretty.
Well it looked pretty until the last day or so which has seen all the flowers disintegrate in the battering rain.
Now the driveway - and the car, our shoes and therefore the house - is covered in soggy white petals.
And the hedge looks very sorry for itself.
