A Moment of Pure Happiness

For me, happiness occurs in short, intense bursts...I had one of those today.  M and I walked along the North Norfolk coastal path from West Runton to Sheringham, an attractive, elevated route high up along the cliffs.  We then returned along the beach, the tide was just beginning to come back in and all we could hear were the sound of the waves, which accompanied by the slight warmth of the sun on our backs engendered  a moment of pure happiness and tranquillity.

So...maybe not the most exciting photograph, but it records that special moment which turned an ordinary day into a very special one.

It is not easy to find happiness in ourselves, and it is not possible to find it elsewhere.
