Artist Roy Petrie - on working in China

Catching up with old colleagues today at a lunch party and Roy Petrie, former graphic artist on The Herald now a Fine artist, walked in with this digital print, which our hostess had just bought.
 
Roy is doing a lot of work in China these days and he entertained us with stories of the Chinese way of doing contemporary art. As an invited artist he was given a luxurious apartment compelete with chef and chauffeur!
 
And at a private view of his exhibition, prior to the official gallery opening, a 100-invited VIP guests were each given a signed digital print of his work.
 
Now that’s what I call doing it in style…
