Frost over Dunblane

Woke this morning to a heavy frost, one of the few we have had this winter, which is very unusual.

By early January we would have expected to have had several severe frosts plus snow. Instead we have  rhododendrons in bloom and there have even been recordings  of midges hatching in Glencoe- that made the national media.

This time of the year also  sees the arrival of the thank you cards from young relatives, no doubt "encouraged" by their parents.

I particularly liked this one ( see extra photo) from a five year old relative .

Meanwhile Blipfoto edges ever closer to its target of £180,000.
52 days left to pledge. If you have not done so then go to Blipfuture to help save this site from closing.
