About nineteen to midnight, the pledge total slowly creeping up...looking for a suitable soundtrack....I auditioned Mark Knopfler playing Money for Nothing (after all, you're not likely to get your money back...), Pink Floyd's Money (too predictable?) but finally settled on Stray Paper by Tift Merrit...which isn't really about money at all. But I like it and it sounds like it is.
If you are fortunate enough to have any spare cash, please consider "investing" in the future of Blip. The Fab Four are meeting with the current owners of Blip in a few days time and so every krone, deutschmark, gold bar and franc pledged is likely to help keep this beleaguered and friendly vessel off the rocks. Which reminds me of another song...but...oh well, maybe tomorrow!
I know many folk don't have the spare lolly to contribute and that is of course fine, each of us offers what they can, if they can. But if you are thinking about it, but haven't yet acted (like me, until about five minutes ago!), please strike now while the opportunity is still there.
