Wedding #5 - The Family Tree

A very special day, when we gathered together in Edinburgh, to celebrate with A & R.

The Bride arrived, accompanied by Fairies and Page Boys. Each was carrying a photograph, which they hung on this wintry tree at the front, where the register would be signed.  Photographs of those no longer with us - both sets of parents of the Bride and Groom, and our dear Hilary.  She inspired me to join this site, nearly seven years ago, so this really had to be my Blip for the day.

Special memories :-
Our Beautiful Bride
All the Kilts
The Gathering of the Clan
The Winter Theme
The Candles, Snowflakes and Pine Cones
The Fairies, the Fairy Godmother and the Page Boys
Wands and Wings
Dark Green
The Lake District Tables
The Jam
The Heart Baskets with Snowballs
Apples
Random A!
The Drum and Violin Cake
Meeting up with so many old friends
Briefly taking some photographs for the Pro, so he could be in the shots - one very heavy Nikon camera
The Evening Service of Thanksgiving
The Birthday Psalm - Psalm 103
Ian Leitch reading Colossians 2 v 1-10
The Band of Brothers singing "King of Kings, Majesty". (They need to make music together more often.)
The excellent Smoking Barrel Ceilidh Band - same band as #1 and S's wedding (highly recommended)
The JibJab Video Clip "You're the one that I want!"
Hot Chocolate, Mulled Cider, Haggis, Neeps, Tatties
And ... the missing apostrophe!

I'll add a couple of extras from my phone.
