Sunrise over Lake Torremendo

A very early start to the day here on the Costa Blanca as I was off out with neighbour-over-the-road to photograph the sunrise. We found a suitable position and set up our tripods and cameras.  

As time progressed the changing colours spread over the sky until, at its peak, the whole area seemed on fire.  Then the blues started to take over and soon the sky was returning to 'normal'.  We packed up our kit and headed off to a local coffee bar.

There is very little post processing in this image -  it is pretty much as it was! Apologies for failing mono Monday but this one just had to be in colour. Extras added to show the 'before' and 'after'.

Out this evening with neighbours-down-the-hill for a meal and return flight to UK in the morning.

Now I think I need a siesta!
