A good start ......

The day promised much but delivered nothing in the terms of sunshine and blue skies.  The sky looked so strange this morning with the horizontal line between cloud and the rising sun.  Sadly, as the sun came up the cloud came down covering all touches of the golden glow ...... and it has now been raining since lunch time!
