If you can't beat them...

Aira Beck Upper Cascades

For a change by lunch time we had a dry day and even some sun.  Clickychick and I decided to go out for a walk looking for blips.  We set off for the lake intending to get some shots of the damage and changes that have been left behind by the floods.  However passing through Dockray we decided to change that plan and go to the Aira Beck Upper Cascades.

This area has been "improved" recently with a  and display carpark and a laid path down to the stream and a large wooden bridge.  Personally I don't like it.  What was an unspoiled area visited by those prepared to find their way across a soggy field  to a typical tourist spot.  I keep looking for people in high heels.

Back to the blip.  This is a shot looking down the lower cascade (what is the difference between a cascade and a waterfall?)  I like this one because of the wispy effect that has been created in the bottom left corner.
