Snowdrops at St Nectan's

I was saddened to hear this morning of the death of an old friend. We did our training together and have kept in touch ever since. Younger than me and lots fitter (an ex-marine who ran every morning before work). A sudden death whilst out running, I believe, it must be terrible for his family although I'm sure many of us would be pleased to have a death that's not accompanied by illness and suffering.

I don't know if it was that which drew me to this lovely old church in Ashcombe. The snowdrops on the bank seemed to provide a good foreground to it and the clouds look good although I had to wipe raindrops off the lens before this shot.

RIP Paul
