Chiaroscuro

Like quite a few other blippers, I have signed up for the A Year with my Camera course being run by Emma Davies -- in my case in the hope of getting a bit of blip mojo back. The idea is to choose a theme to run through the year. Even that was difficult,  but I ended up choosing glass. It's all around us in different forms, and I figure if I get really stuck I can always fall back on bottles and wine glasses, of which there is no shortage in our household.

This is a small perfume bottle decorated with gold leaf -- a leaving present from the last proper job I had (as opposed to working for myself) -- nearly 20 years ago now!
