Tiny Tuesday : : Dry Fennel

Our alternating days of rain and sun seem to be a good way to refill the reservoirs without causing floods, but we are being constantly reminded that a few weeks of rain do not the end of the drought make. It's a bit difficult to take a 'military' shower (get wet, turn the water off, soap up, turn the water on and rinse off) when it is cold and pouring rain….

The new year has brought with it a desire to rearrange the furniture and 'freshen things up', but there is simply no other way to arrange the furniture in a house with very few walls and lots of windows. My one change was to   take down our  Peet's anniversary posters, signed by the artist, which were hanging at one end of the kitchen and replace them with framed pictures signed by Maya and Owen. I've put a picture  of them in the extras. I have a feeling there is a story behind them, especially Maya's ''Cute Shoes' but I don't know it yet….

Tomorrow will be another 'rain day'. Maybe I'll risk total communications blackout  and rearrange the astonishing array of cords pouring out of the back of the media cabinet get re-hooked on House Hunter's International…. .
