Today.......

......it really was all about the weather!

Fine mizzle settled in this morning, it was freezing after yesterday's 28C, just a mere 16C today and then the wind arrived. These clouds were roaring through the sky at such a pace the birds couldn't keep up. It's fair to say mum and I didn't linger for too long, it was by far warmer in the car.

It was our grocery shop today and a visit to see R. He looked so sad today, a real down and out expression when we arrived, but then he had been giving the staff a hard time - oh dear! Over the last couple of weeks  he's become very unstable on his feet, he's had a few falls and they're becoming more regular. By the time we left he was fairly chirpy, had enjoyed a laugh or two and was happy for us to go - I'm glad we managed to cheer him up.

Mum hasn't got back into the swing of blip after the New Year but enjoys looking in on some journals, I think we both have enough on our minds at present.

Thank you all so very much for all of your lovely words, stars and hearts for yesterday's 'Bee....surprised!' and also for 'Boats in the morning light', a backblip from our time in Whakatane, both shots I'm delighted with and are quite special in their own right. 

I'd best fly now, dishes to do, washing to fold and Daughter E has just walked in the door.
