Orchid Garden

Had a super day today - special birthday cards made (will blip tomorrow) one from KG with a musical movement in playing Happy Birthday, One from Amanda with Madeira images on and one From Sarah with pics of EM and L + others.  We had a taxi to take us up to the Orchid garden and the orchids were amazing.  It was quite small and we did it comfortably in an hour.  Our taxi driver waited and dropped us in Funchal.  We then went to a bar on the harbour and had beer and chips. - a visit to Blandys for Madeira Wine tasting and a sit in the park.  Decided to catch a taxi back and blow me it was the same taxi driver - we think he must be following us.  On returning to our room the chambermaid gave us a bottle with the words you have a message - in it was an letter telling me that as today was my special day to contact reception and they would arrange a surprise.
Blip today is of course an orchid with some extras.  All in all a  good day and looking forward to this evening
