Succulent succulents

Last winter was tough on succulents. I lost plants that had lasted many winters only to succumb to the frosts and icy conditions of last winter.

This one is thriving in summer. The greatest threat to their well being is Benedict crashing around with his mates. There are a lot of kittens in the neighbourhood and a couple of them regularly appear in the back courtyard to play.

I'm on a quest to simplify my life. I've started by unsubscribing from several emails. Hopefully I'll end up with less to do, and more things that give me pleasure and meaning.
