Another cultural icon died today at 69 - the actor Alan Rickman. For many people he is Hans Gruber in Die Hard, or Severus Snape in the Harry Potter films but for me he will always be Jamie in Truly Madly Deeply. Playing opposite Julie Stevenson's Nina as her husband who comes back as a ghost to help her get over his death.
