A photo a day keeps the doctor away

I've just had a lovely time titting around in the kitchen while Richard went for his first post-op visit to the pub and Tess went to a kids' club.

I tried to be a bit clever - just a bit clever mind you - by balancing my Cézanne print just out of shot so that it would reflect in a ghostly way on the black.

I'm a fan of Cézanne and I often think I am influenced by him without knowing it. But when I start trying to make a still life out of fruit rolling around it's pretty obvious.

Anyway this shot wasn't about trying to do anything but have fun and be me. Because not being me isn't good for my health.

Everyone is back now and it's time for wine.
