Golden Sunrise

0.7C starting bright and frosty. Light cloud for the rest of the day. Zephyr.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went through to Arbroath before 9am and had a walk round the harbour. I took Maeve round towards the Signal Tower museum so I could try and catch the strong golden sunrise colours with a view out past the harbour wall and breakwater.

We walked round the inner harbour to the boatyard. The large fishing boat is still on the slipway and there were three men up on the scaffolding. One was painting the hull. It was freezing !

No fishermen on the harbour wall today. The lock gate to the inner harbour was open so we walked back to the car the way we had come. Several boats were out at sea.

Maeve and I went for a walk after lunch. Dire Straits on the Nano (Brothers in Arms). Just a 2 mile loop down to the shore road and round the main road and back home.
