2016 Sunday -- New Kitchen

That photo is a portion of the new kitchen in our coast home.

The construction guys have 3 more days of work to complete the remodel of our home. Some of that will be in the kitchen: a door knob on the pantry, pot-filler over the range (not pictured), reinstall the cabinet doors beneath the sink (they've been working on the toe lights beneath the cabinets). The refrigerator still has some of the plastic wrap because the guys will need to roll it out to do some adjustments on the cabinet doors above it.I'm thrilled with all the bright lights and the dimmer switches so that we can dim the lights when we're not busy in the kitchen.

I've spent a good portion of this weekend cleaning the tile floor, the counter-tops, and wiping the veil of construction dust from the inside of the cabinets and drawers, but all the work was enjoyable because I am very pleased with the way the kitchen looks and with its functionality.
