Mar Menor

Long day. But a good day.
Up early.
Saw 5 houses. Few very good, but we don't think the right one.
3 walks in stunningly beautiful landscapes with the dogs. Morning, afternoon, evening.
Dogs were with us the whole day so they are starting their nightly sleep.
All dogs have health bowel movement. Fabulous.
Grocery store shopping at Lidl. Big store. Not too crowded. Space in the parking lot without wait.
Lunch finally ready at 5 pm.  I was getting dizzy at that point.

About our accommodations.
All in the name of adventure - right?

We live in a garage. Made into a house. That's why we have the iron staircase to upstairs. This is so funny. We feel like we're in s storage unit - and we are! Upstairs is a real house. With windows. But there's just two bedrooms and a toilet. The living room in downstairs and the dogs too. So our awake time we hang around in the garage. Here's the kitchen too. The thing is that we didn't find anyone else who would take us with 3 dogs, so this was the only option for us. The positive thing about this is that it will get us up and around better, since this place is clearly for cooking and sleeping and doing your laundry only. Very educational. But we'll survive.

This little town (village) is a ghost town during winters. About every 20th house is lived. Others have blinders on them and they are empty for the winter. It feels such a waste. We walked at least one kilometer by the beach this evening and there were stunning houses by the sea - all empty. I would gladly stay in any of them. It's just so sad. We were told that this town comes alive during the summer.

But I like this place. Not that would live here. The houses have no gardens. But I like this small town feeling. And the peace and quite. The s p a c e ! After crowded Costa del Sol this really feels good to me. Hubby not agreeing.

Morning shot in the extras.
Afternoon shot in main.
