Tulip - and a quote

Today, in the US, we celebrate the life and work of Martin Luther King, Jr.  We need to hear his words as much today as we did in the civil rights era.  Sometimes it feels as though we are not closer at all to that promised land.

But I know that is wrong. I see happy families in configurations that were unheard of in my childhood.  Love has eroded walls of race, religion, gender-norms.  The walls are still there, but they have holes.

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.  Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."

Thank you, Dr. King.
