A Fan !

Fan Museum  
Destination Fan Museum Greenwich  - Nice ride on the Docklands Light Railway to  Cutty Sark and then a short walk up the hill . What a surprise ! - the first fan was Elizabethan 1590 - the only known one in existence !!( extra)
Upstairs a door opened and out came an elderly lady . I recognised her from a portrait we had seen to be the collector- and asked her about the collection !! She was very kind and shared her passion for fans with us - We learnt a lot ! We're fans .
After dinner we walked past the Cutty Sark ( another extra) and went by boat up the Thames to Tower Bridge!
