Monochrome with reflections

It was still and cold on the Ardyne path today, and the reflections of the snowy hills were clear in the pools left by the deluges that preceded the snow. At least we'd chosen a shore-side walk where the snow and ice had vanished; further inland I suspect many of our favourite tracks would be an unpleasant mix of slush and ice.

There may be a thaw, but it took me a good 40 minutes of brisk walking before I could feel myself warming up. I'm so looking forward to walking in the warmth of Tenerife next month!
