Black-tailed Godwit(Limosa Limosa)

So very happy to photograph this (new)
beautiful bird, I've been walking around the big Natural park of Qurum and saw this majestic Black-tailed Godwit(apparently there are two types of Godwit that visit Oman in the Winter, this is the slightly rarer one) To get a bird with a great contrasting background is fantastic, to capture it in such an elegant pose is brilliant, so as I've only seen this bird from a long way off before, I'm pretty chuffed to say the least. As you can probably tell its from the Sandpiper family and is the largest at 42cm and as for that beak! Well its something else-very long and straight. The extras are of Muttrah Corniche and the harbour taken on the way back from dropping my husband off at work.
