Back alleys

I got the dry weather for my day walking around Edinburgh between meetings. Grey and a bit misty, but dry.

The old part of the city is a warren of closes ("alleys" in English) and for me it's nice to use them as short cuts away from the traffic.

The one in the Blip is Milne's Close. It's a short cut between the Mound and the Royal Mile. The building is a student residence belonging to Edinburgh University.

All the meetings went well and my trains were almost on time.
