Agapanthus Seedhead

An Agapanthus seedhead just catching the late afternoon winter sun from my garden. I liked the cooler colours with just a touch of light and then a little play in photoshop to create the sense of movement.

Our days are slowly getting longer with sunrise now before 8am and sunset just after 5pm. It was a long sunset tonight as we were taking Daughter A to the airport, a lingering of colour along the horizon an hour after the sun had set, quite pretty against the darkening sky.

A quiet house tonight, Daughter A is now back in Wellington as I type, Daughter E has headed to bed with an early start tomorrow of 5.30am and Hubby and I are going to watch a little TV. We hope to head away somewhere tomorrow for the day, perhaps somewhere a little north would be nice with a picnic.
