Weston Park, Sheffield

We're back on the hospital run with 21 days of radio-therapy treatment for Ann, the final phase - give or take a few injections, tablets and scans.  We encountered horrendous traffic following a shooting incident in Hillsborough (where someone was apparently shot in the leg).  Although we managed to get by the incident on the way into Sheffield, as only one lane was closed, on the way back they'd closed both lanes and re-routed traffic and it took us ages to get home.  I was due to do a short introduction to the annual Yorkshire Photographic exhibition, so no time to finish off my (mental) preparations - it was OK on the night though - probably better for not too much preparation.

Yesterday's journey was so much better - thank goodness, but damp and miserable and dark by the time we came out of the hospital.  I was going to take a photo of the lovely orchid that was left on our doorstep by one of my camera club friends.  Maybe I'll make it today's blip.
