Chimney Shadows

A distant view (a bit east of  north) from the bedroom at the back of our 4th floor Paris apartment. The sun has just risen and is shining through thin clouds on the distant buildings.  The image is a small slice in the center of this blip from just over a year ago (the rosy light in the two lower windows in that shot is probably from the setting sun shining through that building).  We're very fortunate to have views in both directions (this is the broad panorama in nearly the opposite direction ten days ago, from three stories above our apartment to be sure).
