Subtle Sunset

Not a hope in hell of capturing a sunrise this morning ... Rain was forecast and rain we got ... Lot's of it ... :o(
The rain did ease off a bit just after sunrise ... and then it came back with a vengeance around mid-morning ... :o(
Meanwhile, the sky remained grey and overcast ... :o(

It wasn't until after lunchtime that the sun finally broke through ... and even then it was weak, hazy affair ... :o|
But all was not lost ... because it did manage to stick around until sunset ... (just about) ... :o)
