Paris Day #1

So, we left Roma with some dodgy airline,  but arrived safely in Paris, so all good. We decided to wing it to our hotel, which was perhaps rather foolish, but again, worked out in the end.

Train to Gare du Nord (with a change at Anthony) and then a glance at Google Maps. It was only 1.1 miles from the station, so Mr B popped 25kg on his back, wheeled another 25kg and carried a 10kg pack on his front. I had another 10kg pack and Little Miss was carrying a slightly lighter one. It soon became apparent that it might as well be 100.1 miles as Little Miss couldn't manage her pack - we ran her ragged in Rome! So, I popped her pack on my front and off we went.

We found our accommodation and were happy to arrive. Fortunately, there was a lift, so Mr B didn't have to lug all those bags up the three flights of stairs to our room!

We ventured out to do a much needed load of washing and then went to the supermarket to get a few bits for our dinner. These 'Crusty nuts', despite their rather amusing name, were very tasty, and the only photo I took today.

Paris for real starts tomorrow!

Night all.
