Whats so interesting?

Bats poo of course !

We have known for ages that we have bats in the loft at Dartmoor base at certain time of the year and today a nice young lady expert called to see if she could help identify our little lodgers. There were non in residence when she went up with just her torch so she collected a sample of their poo, which because of their various sizes, has led her to believe we could have several species at times.

Apparently, at this time of the year they come in for the warmth and to prepare to have their young. In the winter they tend to roost in caves and places where there is a constant temperature

Anyhow samples have been obtained and she has taken them away for further examination, in due course we will find out which sort of vampire bats we have!!!!
