1809

We took the three girls for brunch at a café not far from where they live. It’s called 1809 and is owned by Kelly Holmes. If you don’t know the place, you might like to hazard a guess as to why it has that name.

We were waiting for our order to appear, and Grandad was just trying to explain the 1809, when who should come in, but the lady herself (see extra). She came straight to our table, chatted to the girls and took on the job of explaining the name of the café. A really lovely person. The girls were delighted. The food was excellent too. 
 
And as there are only two of them here – the second extra has the third playing a starring a role as she showed us how skilled she now is on the scooter we bought her for her birthday. A very foggy Knole Park.
