Lake Nakuru National Park

My blip today is of Lake Nakuru National park, a small game reserve around the shores of a lake. As well as the spectacular views in the park, there was an amazing variety of wildlife. In particular it was great to see many rhino, both white and black. We saw a lot of birdlife on the lake. This is in fact the lake which featured in the film 'Out of Africa' when Denys Finch Hatton flew a bi-plane over the lake which was covered by millions of flamingos. Sadly they were not in residence when we visited.
