Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Looking at pictures

This is just an exercise…. spent too much time trying out some ideas from my B and W course…with many frustrations for what wouldn’t work … (I don’t think it’s all me, some things on PS just won’t work right  :-)  )     So you need to bare (bear??) with me for these experimental blips....and I'm going to leave comments off til friday,

Yesterday was the 5th anniversary of the Egyptian revolution so we were remembering our trip there and I wanted to find my photos….(the trip is on blip 5 years ago..we were there for the 1st 6 days…)  but that was when I was still making dvds of trips… (not Blurb books)   so where was it?   Well, I found the dvd in the sketchbook.   and it was great fun to look at.. But it made me think AGAIN of this crazy business of saving photos and memories …especially since we are still slogging through my old slides, one carousel at a time, almost, not quite  every day (we’re up to 1979 today,— camping, sailing, Chicago, kids soccer) ) to digitize… what will be obsolete first?   Books are still the best by far.    The seats in the blip are from the fairly posh and comfortable movie theater a few days ago—-another way of looking at pictures..

Blipper Kendall brought to my attention a book by Alexander Murray, Egypt’s 1000 days of Revolution, a Parade of Presidents, full of photos….and history… I downloaded it into iBooks…there’s another way to look at photos….  Oh my, technology is just moving so fast…I want to slow down!
