Cornish Sunrise

The forecast said we'd get good weather so I set the alarm and leapt out of bed at 7.15 (that's a proper time for dawn). I took a walk through the town and up to the Island. The sky was good but there wasn't much sign of the colours developing. I went down to Porthgwidden Beach where the waves were washing nicely over the pebble shore and then it happened!

Aftere we'd had breakfast we set off for Port Wenn, more properly known as Port Isaac and the setting for the Doc Martin tv series. We had a wander round and had lunch there. I've added a few from the sunrise and from Port Isaac here.

It was a beautiful morning although a bit chilly but the cloud and a bit of rain has blown in again now.
