Living dangerously

I took a walk in the woods this morning and it's good to see that the local ranger is continuing the good work of thinning out the trees.

There are lots of pockets of snowdrops and I must remember to go back with a mirror so I can get down low to photograph them from underneath.  I did try holding my camera upside down, which worked reasonably well.  See extra.

I spotted this lacewing on the lounge wall, but it could do to be somewhere sheltered outside and if I catch it I'll put it in the greenhouse.  It's far too warm for it in the house and will be lucky to survive.

Have a good weekend.
