Nacreous Cloud

A beautiful sight this morning of a nacreous cloud.  Glimpsed it from my bedroom window just as I was about to leave for work so only had a minute to grab a couple of photos of it.

I've included the lampost beneath the cloud to show the image is not out of focus...it's iridescent colours are caused by sunlight diffracting as it passes through ice crystals.
