Why does he do that!

Jonty gets into the most strange positions to lie on a cushion. Quite often it's the one he's lying on in the photo propped up on the blue one in front and he lies on top of both facing the front of the chair. He is the weirdest dog for cushions I've ever seen.
He was in competition with the extra photo today, couldn't make my mind up. Took up the rugs so I could vacuum and steam the wooden hallway (which I laid by the way!) and then covered in a non-slip wood polish. 
I once did the whole thing with spray furniture polish. Looked very nice but nearly had a few trips to A&E as people came through the door and went surfing along hall on the rugs!
