A light smattering of snow

This morning I awoke to a light smattering of snow on the garden. Throughout the day there have been a succession of snow. sleet and hail showers interspersed with clear skies and sunshine but an unrelenting bitter cold wind. As this may be the only snow we see this winter I felt obliged to capture it for Blip and took a few shots on the walk with the dogs this morning.

This afternoon I also took a shot of the reeds blowing in the wind at Seafield Pond but as I turned to walk back home I met horizontal hail. In the ten minutes it took me to get home, the top of my trousers were soaked and I had to change them.
