HELLEBORE FLOWER

Horrible weather all day. Wind, rain, cold (?).
We did not walk at all. I only went outside to feed the birds, and to look for a picture.
On a day like this, I read a book or I watch TV, and I did sew the seams of two curtains that hung for more than one year, the seams provisionally held with pins. I did it by hand as I had learned this when I was young. Still two more curtains to go, perhaps when the weather tomorrow will be bad again.

My haiku:

I count the petals
Admire the colour of this
Wintertime flower

And the proverb:

Couch a hogshead.

(= go to sleep)
